Privacy Policy — ZOE Mobile App

Last updated: July 31, 2026

Scope of this policy

This policy applies specifically to the ZOE mobile application for iOS and Android. Our websites, landing pages, and checkout flows are covered by our general Privacy Policy.

The app is published by Genesis Media Group LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, with a service address at 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Questions? Write to support@app-genesis.com.

What the app collects

Your email address. The app has no sign-up and no password. You enter your email address, our server checks it against our record of purchases, and — if it matches — creates your session. Your email is the only credential and is how your content is tied to you.

Profile details. Your first name, your time zone, and your preferred language. Your time zone is read from your phone's settings the first time you sign in, so that your daily ritual resets at your local midnight; your name and language you enter yourself. You can edit or remove all of these at any time inside the app.

Your activity within the app. Which days you completed the ritual, your streak, and the gratitude and prayer offerings you write. Written offerings are personal content and are stored so the app can show them back to you in your Book of Gratitude and archive.

Messages you send us. If you contact support from inside the app, we receive the content of your message and your email address so we can reply. That one screen is a web page shown inside the app, and our analytics tool records how it is used — including the text typed into the message box — so we can tell whether people are able to reach us. No other screen in the app is recorded.

Usage analytics. Which screens you open and which in-app actions you take, along with basic technical information such as your device type, screen size, language and time zone. We use this to understand which parts of the app are used and where people get stuck.

Your IP address. Like any app or website, our servers and our service providers receive the IP address your device connects from — it is how a reply reaches you. We do not use it to determine or store your location.

What the app does not collect

We want to be explicit about this, because it is unusually short for an app:

  • No payment information. The app contains no purchase, checkout, pricing, or billing screens of any kind. It never sees or stores card details.
  • No advertising identifiers and no cross-app tracking. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not share data with advertising networks.
  • No location data. The app never asks for location permission and never receives GPS or precise location. We have also switched off the optional feature in our analytics tool that would estimate a city from an IP address, so no location is derived or stored.
  • No microphone, camera, photos, contacts, calendar, or health data. The app does not request these permissions.
  • No password. There is nothing to leak, because there is no password to store.

How we use this information

  • To verify that you purchased the program and to give you access to it;
  • To keep you signed in across sessions, so you are not asked for your email every time;
  • To save your progress, streak, and written offerings, and show them back to you;
  • To show the app in your language and to reset your daily ritual at midnight in your time zone;
  • To answer your support messages;
  • To measure and improve how the app works;
  • To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your written offerings for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Your account data, progress, and offerings are stored in our database hosted by Supabase on servers in the United States, protected by row-level security rules so that your records are readable only by your own session.

On your phone, your session token is kept in the operating system's secure storage — the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore — not in ordinary app files.

Data travels between your phone and our servers over encrypted HTTPS connections.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the providers we need in order to run the app:

  • Supabase — database and file hosting for your account, progress, and audio content;
  • PostHog — product analytics and the in-app support messaging widget;
  • Cloudflare Stream — delivery of the video series;
  • Vercel — hosting of the server that verifies your purchase and generates your prayer at the Altar;
  • OpenRouter — the language-model provider that generates your personalized prayer text from the gratitude you write;
  • Our authorized reseller — depending on where you bought the program, this is ClickBank or Digistore24. We check your email against their record of your purchase. Your contract of sale is with that reseller, under their own terms and privacy policy;
  • Legal and safety — authorities or other parties where required by law or to protect our rights.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, without contacting us:

Open the app → Journey tab → scroll to the bottom → "Delete account"

This permanently removes your profile, your progress and streak, and every gratitude and prayer offering you have written. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore the content afterwards.

If you would rather we do it for you, email support@app-genesis.com from the address you use to sign in.

Deleting your app account does not by itself cancel a subscription you bought through a reseller — see our App Terms of Use for how to cancel.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account exists, so the app can show you your history. After you delete your account, your personal content is removed from our active systems, and residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten in the ordinary backup rotation.

Records we are required to keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons — such as proof of purchase — are retained for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Much of this you can do yourself in the app: your name, time zone, and language are editable, and account deletion is one tap away.

For anything else, email support@app-genesis.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16 (or under 18 where a higher age of majority applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the content on this page and update the date at the top. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
